2. Harbor Fest in Oak Bluffs
The Oak Bluffs festival known as “Harborfest” takes place along the harbor. Music, food, artisans and entertainment all day. Kick off the summer season with this Island tradition!

Start time is 5 PM but you’ll want to get there early! Street closes at 4 PM.
The PARADE meanders thru town center and up Main Street. This old fashioned parade is the pride of Islanders young and old!
After the parade stay in town... you’re about to see an Amazing Fireworks show! This must-see event can be seen for miles as the colors illuminate the skies above Edgartown Harbor.
5. Feast of the Holy Ghost
A cherished tradition since the 1920s on Martha's Vineyard. Honoring Queen Isabel’s Crown and Portuguese traditions.

6. The 41st Annual Crafts and Artisans Fair
The fair will run from 9 AM - 2 PM in the Tabernacle.
7. Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival
Mark your calendar and plan to attend the 22nd annual Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival! The 2024 festival will take place August 2-10. Schedule to be announced at a time closer to the festival.

Ocean Park Music and festivities fun for all! This is the island treat to themselves as we celebrate another wonderful season.
The highlight of the summer! Join us in the Tabernacle for a patriotic Community Sing at 7:30—a weekly campground tradition for over 100 years! The program includes a variety of songs! Free-will offering. 8:30 is the Lantern Lighting Ceremony immediately followed by live music by the Vineyard Haven Band. Stick around for the gorgeous spectacle of lanterns being lit in domino-like unison from the Tabernacle outwards until all 300+ cottages are glowing. Take a walk to see how each house is decorated and celebrate this night.
10. 2024 Agricultural Fair
Nothing says August on the Island quite like the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society Livestock Show & Fair. See you at the 162nd Fair on August 15-18, 2024.
